Team Composition (Founder’s Background):
Satish Kashyap, Co-founder & Director
14+ years across renewable energy and technology product management. Satish co-founded General Carbon, which evolved into one of Asia’s largest carbon credit advisory. Managed consulting teams that delivered >5% revenue increase on renewable energy projects. Satish worked with leading clean energy producers in Asia on project evaluation, due diligence and revenue enhancement. Prior experience includes stints as investment manager with a private equity fund (IL&FS Group), director of client services for a leading North American financial technology provider (SunGard) and product development at the National Stock Exchange of India Group. Satish has a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Post Graduate Program in Management (MBA) from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Pallavi Narvekar, Co-founder & Director
18+ years of IT experience across mainframe, Java & Microsoft technologies. Pallavi developed real time systems handling over 1 million messages per hour at the National Stock Exchange of India. She led the development of India’s first Internet based equity & derivative trading platform based on Microsoft technologies. Pallavi was responsible for performance improvement and latency reduction in risk management and trading applications. Pallavi designed systems for program trading across equity and derivative instruments. In her last role, she was heading IT for one of India’s largest brokers (Reliance Securities, part of Reliance Capital Group). Pallavi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Mumbai University.

With other leading OEMs like Vestas & Enercon, on the anvil we are ready to support most leading power producers. Algo Engines supports over 550 MWs of wind turbines. Our current pipeline is over 2000 MW and we aim to grow rapidly in other leading wind markets like US, Europe, Canada & Japan in 2014.
